We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 6th ranked Ansbach (7-7) was outplayed at home by seventh ranked Muenchen OSB (7-7) 86-64 on Saturday. Forward Jermaine Lippert (203-90, college: Detroit Mercy) fired a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. American guard Omari Knox (188-86, college: Bloomfield) chipped in 24 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Muenchen OSB players scored in double figures. Forward Walter Simon (202-89, college: Cumberland) produced 16 points and 5 rebounds and forward Paul Nzeocha (192-91) added 10 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Muenchen OSB moved-up to sixth place in South-East, which they share with defeated Ansbach. Muenchen OSB will face higher ranked TSV Troester (#5) in Breitenguessbach in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
