There was no surprise in Frankfurt where 12th ranked Karlsruhe SC (2-15) was defeated by sixth ranked Fraport Skyliners II (9-8) 76-69 on Sunday. Fraport Skyliners II made 22-of-28 free shots (78.6 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Karlsruhe SC turnovers and outrebounded them 37-24 including a 26-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Point guard Garai Zeeb (187-97) stepped up and scored 19 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners and British guard Jules Akodo (188-96) chipped in 12 points and 5 assists. Four Fraport Skyliners II players scored in double figures.
