No shocking result in a game in Quakenbrueck where second ranked Artland Dragons (12-6) defeated 10th ranked ETB Wohnbau (7-11) 74-66 on Saturday. Artland Dragons looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by ETB Wohnbau's players. The best player for the winners was American forward Andre Calvin (201-85, college: Drake) who scored 17 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Max Rockmann (198-88, college: UMKC) chipped in 19 points. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Montrael Scott (190-93, college: Prairie View A&M) who recorded 13 points and 7 rebounds and Tim Van-der-Velde (190-96) added 16 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) respectively. ETB Wohnbau's coach Igor Krizanovic rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Artland Dragons have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position in North with 12-6 record having just three points less than leader Elchingen, which they share with Bochum. ETB Wohnbau lost seventh consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth place with 11 games lost. Artland Dragons will face league's leader Schalke at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. ETB Wohnbau will play against RSV Eintracht (#12) and hope to win that game.
