Regular Season Round 19: Koblenz - Tuebingen II 104-58

There was no surprise when 6th ranked Tuebingen II (10-8) was outplayed on the road by third ranked Koblenz (14-4) 104-58 on Saturday. Koblenz shot the lights out from three sinking 19 long-distance shots on high 67.9 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Tuebingen II's players. It was a great evening for British forward Joseph Hart (194-93) who led his team to a victory scoring 29 points and 6 rebounds. American forward Marlin Mason (201-93, college: Cleveland St.) helped adding 8 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Koblenz's coach Josip Bosnjak felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. At the losing side center Adrian Lind (206-94) responded with 16 points and 7 rebounds and Albanian forward Vildan Mitku (200-83) scored 10 points and 5 rebounds. Koblenz maintains third place in South-West with 14-4 record having just three points less than leader Schwenningen. Loser Tuebingen II keeps the sixth position with eight games lost. Koblenz will face Fellbach (#9) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Tuebingen II will play against Stuttgart and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
