Leader Dinamo delivered the fifteenth victory. This time they crushed 5th ranked Kyiv Basket (6-12) 103-79 in Odessa. The game was mostly controlled by Dinamo. Kyiv Basket was better in third quarter 24-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 16-of-20 charity shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Dinamo outrebounded Kyiv Basket 43-22 including a 31-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three nailing 13 long-distance shots on high 59.1 percentage. Dinamo players were unselfish on offense dishing 33 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Kyiv Basket's players. The winners were led by center Roman Novikov (204-92, agency: AproK Sports Group) who scored that evening 17 points and 5 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and forward Oleksiy Momotenko (205-92) supported him with 9 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Coach Gennadiy Kuznetsov's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 11 players saving starting five for next games. Even 16 points (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) by point guard Nikita Neshcheret (180-99, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) did not help to save the game for Kyiv Basket. Forward Evgen Bolotsenko (195-95) added 13 points and 5 rebounds for the guests. Four Dinamo and five Kyiv Basket players scored in double figures. Dinamo have a solid three-game winning streak. Newly promoted Dinamo maintains first position with 15-2 record, which they share with Niko-Basket. Kyiv Basket at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the fifth place with 12 games lost. Dinamo's next round opponent will be Khimik-2 (#4) in Yuzhny. Kyiv Basket will play on the road against Politekhn.Lvov in Lviv and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
