We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 12th ranked Duzce Belediye (9-14) lost on the road to thirteenth ranked Istanbulspor (9-14) 81-67. The best player for the winners was American guard Marcus Hall (185-85, college: Colorado, agency: KMG Sports Management) who scored 19 points and 8 assists. Center Ramazan Tekin (214-93) chipped in 12 points and 6 rebounds. Four Istanbulspor players scored in double figures. American point guard Corin Henry (178-88, college: Tarleton St., agency: Octagon Europe) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 assists and power forward Eren Ocakturk (204-87, agency: 1x1 Sports) added 10 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. The victory was the third consecutive win for Istanbulspor. They moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Duzce Bld. Duzce Belediye lost their fifth game in a row. Istanbulspor's next round opponent will be bottom-ranked Yalova Bld (#18) on the road which should be theoretically an easy game.
