Regular Season Round 24: Kronberg - Stuttgart 76-89

Everything went according to plan when seventh ranked Stuttgart (12-10) won against on the road 11th ranked Kronberg (7-14) 89-76 on Sunday. Stuttgart dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Kronberg's 40. The best player for the winners was American forward Nick Mosley (203-88, college: Tarleton St.) who scored 25 points and 6 rebounds. Montenegrin Milos Mandic (195-97) chipped in 21 points (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). At the other side the best for losing team was center Julian Reinwald (209) who recorded a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds and Jure Puljas (200-89) added 20 points (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) respectively. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Stuttgart moved-up to sixth place in South-West, which they share with Tuebingen II. Kronberg lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the eleventh position with 14 games lost. Stuttgart will face Fellbach (#8) at home in the next round. Kronberg will play against Saarlouis/Dillingen and hope to win that game.
