Regular Season Round 21: Wolfpack/BMS - Horsens IC 88-110

Ligaen top team - Horsens IC (19-2) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed seventh ranked BMS Skovlunde (4-17) 110-88. The game was mostly controlled by Horsens IC. BMS Skovlunde was better in fourth quarter 23-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Horsens IC made 19-of-24 charity shots (79.2 percent) during the game. Strangely BMS Skovlunde outrebounded Horsens IC 44-30 including a 21-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. The former international center Kevin Larsen (207-93, college: G.Washington) stepped up and scored 22 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and Bosnian forward Vedran Borovcanin (200-85) chipped in 12 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. The best for the losing side was American forward Durell Vinson (202-85, college: Wagner) with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds and guard George Berling (194-90, college: Western St.) scored 14 points (perfect from the field making all six shots). Five Horsens IC and four BMS Skovlunde players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Horsens IC have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain first place with 19-2 record. Newly promoted BMS Skovlunde keeps the seventh position with 17 games lost.
