No shocking result in a game when third ranked Koblenz (19-5) crushed on the road 15th ranked Limburg (1-23) 103-63 on Saturday. Koblenz shot 61.0 percent from the field. They also forced 23 Limburg turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Quite impressive performance for Croatian point guard Zeljko Novak (184-89) who helped to win the game recording 26 points (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field). American forward Marlin Mason (201-93, college: Cleveland St.) contributed with 18 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four Koblenz players scored in double figures. Coach Josip Bosnjak's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 11 players saving starting five for next games. American forward Dominic Early (198-93, college: Co.Georgia) answered with 22 points and 6 rebounds and Croatian forward Franko Koljanin (200) added 17 points in the effort for Limburg. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Koblenz. They maintain third place in South-West with 19-5 record having just three points less than leader Muenster. Limburg lost their twenty first game in a row. They keep the fifteenth position with 23 games lost. Koblenz will face Crailsheim II (#12) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Limburg will play against Lich II and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
