There was an upset when 4th placed Saarlouis/Dillingen (14-9) lost at home to twelfth ranked Kronberg (8-14) 82-78 on Sunday. Quite impressive performance for Noah Litzbach (195-0) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 5 rebounds. Guard Yannick Schicktanz (186-90) contributed with 10 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Swedish forward Alan Bedirhanoglu (190-96) answered with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 16 rebounds and American guard Ricky Easterling (189-83, college: Bridgewater) added 24 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Saarlouis/Dillingen. Five Kronberg and four Saarlouis/Dillingen players scored in double figures. Kronberg moved-up to tenth place in South-West. Saarlouis/Dillingen lost their third game in a row. They keep the fourth position with nine games lost. Kronberg will face higher ranked Kaiserslautern (#9) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Saarlouis/Dillingen will play against Tuebingen II (#7) and hope to win that game.
