Fifth-ranked Vienna (14-13) used its home court advantage to challenge second ranked Gmunden Swans (19-7) on Thursday. The visitors from Gmunden managed to secure only two-point victory 100-98. However their fans expected easier game. Gmunden Swans shot 61.7 percent from the field and made 18-of-20 free shots (90.0 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of international forward Enis Murati (194-88, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 4 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). The former international point guard Daniel Friedrich (181-92) contributed with 21 points and 5 assists for the winners. Gmunden Swans' coach Bernd Wimmer used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The former international guard Stjepan Stazic (199-78) replied with 32 points and 9 assists and the former international Jason Detrick (195-80, college: Oklahoma, agency: 3Eye) added 22 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Vienna.
