Second Stage Round 4: CSU Sibiu - BC Timisoara 74-64

Leader CSU Sibiu delivered the twenty second victory. This time they beat 5th ranked BC Timisoara (16-11) 74-64. BC Timisoara was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Tyler Laser (185-88, college: E.Illinois) who helped to win the game recording 23 points. The other American import Monyea Pratt (196-85, college: Stillman, agency: Court Side) contributed with 12 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Cuban-American center Adrian Diaz (213-93, college: FIU) replied with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds and international point guard Octavian Calota (189-84) added 13 points in the effort for BC Timisoara. BC Timisoara's coach Tudor Costescu rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. CSU Sibiu maintains first position in Nationala with 22-5 record. BC Timisoara at the other side keeps the fifth place with 11 games lost. CSU Sibiu will play against league's second-placed UBT Cluj Napoca on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. BC Timisoara will play against Pitesti and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
