Semi-Finals Game 2: Cherkasy - Mykolaiv 83-54

Cherkasy cruised past Mykolaiv to open 2-0 advantage. The game was mostly controlled by Cherkasy. Mykolaiv was better in second period 17-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Cherkasy dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Mykolaiv's 26. They outrebounded Mykolaiv 49-25 including a 35-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Cherkasy players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Mykolaiv's players. Maks-Adam Konate (202-91) notched a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds to lead the effort and American forward Shaheed Davis (206-94, college: Cent.Florida) supported him with 16 points and 6 rebounds. Four Cherkasy players scored in double figures. Even 15 points and 8 rebounds by Anton Davydiuk (205-92) did not help to save the game for Mykolaiv. The former international forward Olexiy Onufriyev (202-82) added 18 points for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
