The game in Sofia supposed to be also worth to mention about. Fifth ranked Beroe (11-11) played at the court of 6th ranked Academic Sofia (9-11). Beroe smashed Academic Sofia 104-78. The game was mostly controlled by Beroe. Academic Sofia was better in third quarter 25-24. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Beroe maintains fifth place with 11-11 record. Defending champion Academic Sofia keeps the sixth position with 11 games lost. Beroe's next round opponent will be Cherno More (#8) in Varna. Academic Sofia will play at home against Yambol and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
