Very expected game when 16th ranked Usak Sportlif (5-21) was defeated on the road by twelfth ranked Pinar Karsiyaka (10-16) 78-74. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Pinar Karsiyaka made 19-of-24 charity shots (79.2 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. American swingman DJ Kennedy (198-89, college: St.John's) notched a double-double by scoring 15 points, 7 rebounds and 10 assists to lead the effort and American-Hungarian power forward Jarrod Jones (207-90, college: Ball St.) supported him with 20 points. Even 15 points and 8 assists by American guard CJ Watson (188-84, college: Tennessee) did not help to save the game for Usak Sportlif. His fellow American import center Jackie Carmichael (206-90, college: Illinois St.) added 13 points and 9 rebounds for the guests. Four Usak Sportlif players scored in double figures. Pinar Karsiyaka moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Istanbul BBSK. Usak Sportlif at the other side stay dead last with 21 lost games. Pinar Karsiyaka's next round opponent will be higher ranked Besiktas (#4) in Istanbul and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Usak Sportlif will play at home against the league's leader Fenerbahce (#1) and will have a slim chance for a victory.
