Finals Game 2: Naestved - Randers 99-100

Randers earned Ligaen Bronze as they nipped Naestved in the tight consolation final battle. It looked good early as Naestved took a 3-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Randers had a 27-22 second period charge getting the lead and Naestved was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 99-100. Randers shot 60.9 percent from the field. Strangely Naestved outrebounded Randers 38-20 including a 13-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. American point guard Devon Thomas (183-94, college: Texas Tech) notched 27 points and 4 assists (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and the other American import forward Kyndahl Hill (201-94, college: Weber St.) supported him with 19 points and 8 rebounds. Even 24 points and 5 rebounds by American swingman J.J. Mann (198-91, college: Belmont, agency: Inception Sports) did not help to save the game for Naestved. South African center Christopher Gabriel (211-88, college: San Diego) added 13 points and 12 rebounds for the hosts. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures.
