Neptunas held off visiting Lietuvos Rytas to draw things even at 2-2. Lietuvos rytas was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Neptunas made 20-of-25 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. 25 personal fouls committed by Lietuvos rytas helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Simas Galdikas (203-87) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and the former international guard Tomas Delininkaitis (190-82) who added 11 points during the contest. Four Neptunas players scored in double figures. At the losing side Greek center Loukas Mavrokefalidis (207-84) responded with 18 points and American power forward Travis Peterson (208-85, college: Samford) scored 11 points and 9 rebounds. Lietuvos rytas' coach Rimas Kurtinaitis rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
