Bottom-ranked Gladiators is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their fifth consecutive match to fourth ranked Titans (4-1) 95-89 on Sunday evening. British center Aaron Menzies (221-1996, college: St.Mary's, CA, agency: Helping Ballers) nailed 19 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side and center Georg Voigtmann (213-1994) accounted for 13 points and 7 rebounds. Menzies is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Titans players scored in double figures. American Daniel Monteroso (191-1994, college: West Liberty) came up with 26 points and the other American import Parker Van Dyke (191-1994, college: Utah) added 18 points respectively for Gladiators in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Titans. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Jena. Gladiators lost their fifth game in a row. They still close the standings with five games lost. They share the position with Schwenningen. Titans will meet league's second-placed Rasta Vechta on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Gladiators will play against Uni Baskets (#9) in Paderborn and hope to get finally their first victory.
