Very expected game when 12th ranked WSG Koenigs (1-6) lost on the road to eighth ranked Potsdam RH (3-4) 88-77 on Saturday. Potsdam RH shot 26 for 42 from the free-throw line, while WSG Koenigs only scored nine points from the stripe. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Potsdam RH made 7 blocks. The winners were led by swingman Dennis Teucher (200-1996) who scored that evening 13 points and 9 rebounds and Igor Stroh supported him with 19 points and 6 rebounds. Four Potsdam RH players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 23 points, 10 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals by American Andrew Jones (191-1983, college: Miles) did not help to save the game for WSG Koenigs. Leander Vock (191-2001) added 22 points for the guests. WSG Koenigs' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Newly promoted Potsdam RH maintains eighth position with 3-4 record.
