Regular Season Round 7: Aabyhoj - Amager 47-72

Very significant was Amager's (#3, 3-5) victory against 4th placed Aabyhoj (2-5) 72-47. Amager made 20-of-26 free shots (76.9 percent) during the game. The former international guard Ena Viso (177-1993, college: S.Dakota St.) fired a double-double by scoring 22 points and 15 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Isabella Palmqvist (180-2004) chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds (made all of her ten free throws !!!). Guard Katrine Pedersen (175-2000) produced 12 points and 6 rebounds and guard Suzan Sisman (171-2001, college: Muskegon CC) added 7 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Aabyhoj's coach Fie Nordby gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Amager maintains third place with 3-5 record having three points less than leader Falcon. Loser Aabyhoj keeps the fourth position with five games lost. Amager will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Aabyhoj will play against SISU (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
