Rather predictable result when fifth ranked Silute (9-7) beat at home 9th ranked Delikatesas (6-10) 82-76 on Thursday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Silute made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Canadian guard Jalen Warren (188-1999, college: UIC) stepped up and scored 26 points and 5 rebounds (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) for the winners and Linas Lekavicius (185-1984, college: American) chipped in 10 points, 7 rebounds and 10 assists. Four Silute players scored in double figures. American Darion Rackley (187-1992, college: JSU) responded with 22 points and 6 assists and center Povilas Gaidys (206-1991, college: Southeastern) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds. Delikatesas' coach Zilvinas Petraitis rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Silute moved-up to fourth place. Loser Delikatesas dropped to the eleventh position with ten games lost. Silute will meet Stekas (#7) in the next round. Delikatesas will play against Mazeikiai (#5) and hope to secure a win.
