Bottom-ranked Neptunas-Akv. managed to get a third victory, breaking the series of four consecutive losses on Thursday night. This time they won against sixth-ranked Silute 77-63. Center Oskaras Pleikys (202-2001, agency: BIG) fired a double-double by scoring 22 points, 16 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Gediminas Lesciauskas (197-2001) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds. Neptunas-Akv.'s coach Alfredas Kaniava used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Canadian guard Jalen Warren (188-1999, college: UIC) produced 23 points and Ukrainian Yevgen Balaban (203-1996, agency: BIG) added 9 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Neptunas-Akv. maintains fourteenth place with 3-16 record. Loser Silute keeps the sixth position with nine games lost. They share it with Stekas. Neptunas-Akv. will meet at home higher ranked Mazeikiai (#5) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Silute will play against Rytas 2 in Vilnius and hope to secure a win.
