The most shocking disappointment of round 10 in the Dameligaen was a home defeat of 3rd ranked Amager (3-7) to fourth ranked Aabyhoj (4-6) 66-62 in the game for the third place. Aabyhoj forced 21 Amager turnovers and outrebounded them 46-27 including 16 on the offensive glass. Point guard Camilla Christiansen (175-2001) scored 15 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international forward Ida Krogh (181-1991, college: Nova SE) chipped in 12 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals during the contest. At the losing side the former international guard Ena Viso (177-1993, college: S.Dakota St.) responded with 20 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals and Isabella Palmqvist (180-2004) scored 14 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Aabyhoj moved-up to third place. Amager lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the fourth position with seven games lost. Aabyhoj are looking forward to face bottom-ranked SISU (#5) in Copenhagen in the next round. Amager will play at home against the league's leader Falcon and is hoping to win this game.
