Rather predictable result when twelfth ranked Gladiators (6-7) outscored on the road 15th ranked Duesseldorf (4-9) 104-84 on Friday. American forward Travis Daniels (203-1992, college: MSU) stepped up and scored 15 points and 7 rebounds for the winners and his fellow American import Daniel Monteroso (191-1994, college: West Liberty) chipped in 21 points (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). At the losing side Canadian guard Ryan Richmond (183-1996, college: Bentley) responded with 21 points and center Lennart Boner (209-1993) scored 11 points and 9 rebounds. Four Gladiators and five Duesseldorf players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
