The game in Copenhagen was also quite interesting. Third ranked Aabyhoj (5-6) played at the court of 5th ranked SISU (3-8). Aabyhoj defeated SISU 66-56 on Sunday. They outrebounded SISU 38-27 including 30 on the defensive glass. Aabyhoj looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for guard Katrine Pedersen (175-2000) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds. International center Caroline Wich (185-1996, college: Portland St.) helped adding 19 points and 6 rebounds. Four Aabyhoj players scored in double figures. Point guard Rim Taha (167-2004) responded with 9 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals and Josefine Haabegaard (180-1999) scored 13 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Aabyhoj. They maintain third place with 5-6 record having two points less than leader Falcon. Loser SISU stay at the bottom position with eight games lost. They share it with Amager. Aabyhoj will meet at home league's leader Falcon in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. SISU will have a break next round.
