Everything could happen in Istanbul at the game between two tied teams. Both tenth ranked Fenerbahce 2 and 12th ranked Haremspor had identical 6-10 record. This time Fenerbahce 2 used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Istanbul 74-68 on Friday night. American swingman DShawn Schwartz (201-1999, college: GMU) nailed 27 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side and forward Berkay Bayar (196-1999) accounted for 11 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. American guard Donte Clark (194-1994, college: Texas Southern) came up with 21 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists and the former international forward Izzet Turkyilmaz (212-1990) added 15 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Haremspor in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Newly promoted Fenerbahce 2 maintains tenth place with 7-10 record. Haremspor at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the eleventh position with 11 games lost. They share it with Kocaeli and OGM Orman. Fenerbahce 2 will meet league's leader Mersin on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Haremspor will play against TED Ankara (#5) and hope to secure a win.
