The game between closely ranked teams ended with Poltava's road loss to MBC-Niko 2 42-92 on Friday. The game without a history. MBC-Niko 2 led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Poltava to just 6 points in third quarter. MBC-Niko 2 dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Poltava's 18. MBC-Niko 2 forced 33 Poltava turnovers and outrebounded them 59-37 including a 30-12 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Forward Ivan Turchak (194-2003) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 18 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals for the winners and guard Evgeniy Ivanko (186-2003) chipped in 6 points, 17 rebounds and 6 assists. At the losing side Vladyslav Yaremenko (-2003) responded with 6 points and 12 rebounds and Mykola Boichak scored 17 points.
