Very predictable result in Kaunas where seventh ranked Kauno-LSMU (12-9) smashed 12th ranked Druskininku (1-16) 81-55. They outrebounded Druskininku 57-34 including a 21-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Kauno-LSMU players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. They brought some defensive toughness making 9 blocks. It was an exceptional evening for point guard Evelina Berzinskaite (174-1993) who led the winners and scored 20 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Austeja Babraitis (187-2006) accounted for 16 points and 14 rebounds for the winning side. Four Kauno-LSMU players scored in double figures. Lukne Trofimovaite (168-2008) came up with 20 points and Ugne Viscinyte added 12 points and 4 assists respectively for Druskininku in the defeat. Druskininku's coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Kauno-LSMU maintains seventh place with 12-9 record. Newly promoted Druskininku keeps the twelfth position with 16 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
