There was an upset when higher ranked Titans (17-12) lost on the road to seventeenth ranked Leverkusen (9-20) 108-102 on Saturday. Leverkusen looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Canadian guard Kadre Gray (186-1997, college: Laurentian) nailed 10 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists for the winning side and American point guard TreVion Crews (183-1996, college: Bethel, IN) accounted for 19 points and 5 assists. Sebastian Heck (201-1995) came up with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds and Trinidad and Tobago center Jabari Narcis (206-1997, college: UT Arlington) added 20 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Titans in the defeat. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players saving starting five for next games. Leverkusen maintains seventeenth place with 9-20 record. Newly promoted Titans keep the fifth position with 12 games lost. They share it with Giessen. Leverkusen will meet at home higher ranked Falcons (#13) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Titans will play against the league's leader Rasta Vechta (#1) and will have a slim chance for a victory.
