Regular Season Round 1: Falcon - Amager 76-57

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Amager in Copenhagen on Saturday night. Visitors were rolled over by Falcon 76-57. Falcon forced 24 Amager turnovers and outrebounded them 54-19 including a 25-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Nikoline Sandback (169-2001) who helped to win the game recording 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Katrine Lassen (178-1999) contributed with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. Four Falcon players scored in double figures. Guard Julie Jungslund (169-1998) answered with 11 points and 4 assists and the former international guard Anna Seilund (174-1993, college: USF) added 10 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Amager. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Falcon is looking forward to face Aabyhoj on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Amager will have a break next round.
