An exciting game was played in Copenhagen. Falcon faced Herlev. Host Falcon (3-0) smashed guests from Herlev (0-2) 98-59. Falcon dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Herlev's 38. Falcon forced 19 Herlev turnovers and outrebounded them 41-26 including 20 on the offensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Herlev's players. It was a good game for international guard Elisabeth Brynaa (176-1993) who led her team to a victory with 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Point guard Nikoline Sandback (169-2001) contributed with 15 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Falcon's coach Jens Dossing felt very confident using entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Forward Bianca Braikia (179-2003) answered with 19 points and 5 rebounds and international forward Emilie Gudmand (177-2001) added 17 points in the effort for Herlev. Falcon's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Copenhagen to the arena SISU.
