Regular Season Round 6: Amager - SISU 66-59

Very important is a road loss of third ranked SISU (1-3) against fifth ranked Amager (1-4) on Saturday night. Visiting SISU was defeated by Amager in a tough game in Kastrup 59-66. It was a good game for the former international center Rikke Fabricius (186-1992, college: CMU) who led her team to a victory with 17 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. The former international guard Anna Seilund (174-1993, college: USF) contributed with 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Guard Iben Bendix (167-2002) replied with 18 points and 5 rebounds and Josefine Haabegaard (180-1999) added 14 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for SISU. SISU's coach Susie Heede-Andersen rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Amager left bottom position moving up to fourth place, which they share with Herlev. SISU at the other side keeps the third position with three games lost. Amager will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. SISU will play at home against Herlev and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
