Regular Season Round 4: SKM I - VKM 84-88

Not a big story in a game in Vilniaus where 9th rankedSKM I (1-3) was defeated by fourth ranked VKM (3-1) 88-84 on Sunday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But SKM I won third quarter 25-16 . However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Strangely SKM I outrebounded VKM 53-32 including a 19-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. Guard Dziugas Remeikis (190-2006) fired 37 points (!!!), 5 assists and 7 steals for the winners. Center Titas Lavrinovic (208-2006) chipped in 19 points and 8 rebounds. Swingman Titas Dabriega (194-2006) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points and 14 rebounds and forward Gabrielius Jokubauskas (194-2006) added 27 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. VKM maintains fourth position with 3-1 record. Loser SKM I dropped to the eighth place with three games lost. They share the position with Gargzdu SM and Utenos.
