Visiting Socar Petkim was edged by Merkezefendi in a tough game in Denizl 61-63 . It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Socar Petkim. They outrebounded Socar Petkim 38-21 including a 35-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. American center Daniel Oturu (208-1999, college: Minnesota) notched a double-double by scoring 19 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and Serbian power forward Marko Pecarski (208-2000) supported him with 16 points and 5 rebounds. Even 15 points and 5 rebounds by American swingman Khyri Thomas (190-1996, college: Creighton) did not help to save the game for Socar Petkim . Nigerian-American David Efianayi (188-1995, college: Gardner-Webb) added 16 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Merkezefendi left bottom position moving up to fifteenth place, which they share with Samsunspor. Socar Petkim at the other side keeps the third position with two games lost.
