There was no surprise when 14th rankedBreitenguessbach (3-12) was defeated on the road by fifth ranked Coburg (9-6) 83-79 on Saturday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Coburg forced 19 TSV Troester turnovers. It was a great evening for American forward Kolten Mortensen (201-1997, college: SD Mines) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds. Danish center Olamide Pedersen (206-1997, college: WNMU, agency: Blacktop Management) helped adding 15 points and 7 rebounds. Coburg's coach Patrick Seidel used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was Marlon Stephan (185-2003) with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and Jonas Klaus scored 15 points. Five Coburg and four TSV Troester players scored in double figures. Coburg have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to third place, which they share with 3 other teams. TSV Troester lost seventh consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the thirteenth position with 12 games lost. They share it with Schwenningen and Ibbenbueren.
