Everything went according to plan when fourth rankedLich Basketball (14-5) won against at home 6th ranked Reutlingen (11-7) 91-74 on Saturday. Lich Basketball dominated down low during the game scoring 40 of its points in the paint compared to Reutlingen 's 20. They outrebounded Reutlingen 37-24 including a 28-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Lich Basketball looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Reutlingen 's players. The former international Johannes Lischka (203-1987) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the winners and power forward Yannik Ribbecke (197-1997) chipped in 16 points. Four Lich Basketball players scored in double figures. Lich Basketball's coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was point guard Lino Tomas Duarte (190-2004) with 19 points and 6 rebounds (went 14 for 14 at the free throw line !!!) and point guard Kilian Fischer (184-2002) scored 18 points. Lich Basketball have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They moved-up to third place. Reutlingen lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with seven games lost.
