Walter Tigers Tubignen earned an exciting 102-100 double overtime road win over TBB Trier Saturday night at Trier Arena. F Michael Haynes (8reb) and C Rasko Katic (10reb) scored 21pt apiece while PG Jermaine Anderson added 20pt 4reb 5ast in the Tiger win. The fast paced game saw Tubingen take a 23-16 lead after 1Q before the hosts from Trier answered to even the game at 39 at half. Trier took a 59-58 lead into the 4th but Tubingen evened the score and the game went to overtime tied at 79. Jamal Shuler led all scorers with 29pt (10-15fgs 6-6ft) while Derek Raivio added 26pt 5-9 threes 5ast and Maksym Shtein 16pt 5reb in the tough home loss for Trier. Tubingen shot 54% while Trier hit 51% from the floor. Tigers made 10 of 27 threes (37%) and 16 of 21 FT (76%) while Trier made 40% of their threes (12-30) and 67%FT (20 of 30). Tubingen's hardwork on the boards helped them outrebound Trier 43-29. Head Coach Tolga Ongoren and his Tubingen team improved to 3-2 while Trier slipped to 3-2.
