Regular Season Round 9: Turk Telekom - Aliaga 95-105

On Friday night, Aliaga Petkim came to Ataturk Spor Salonu in Ankara to play against Turk Telekom Ankara. Aliaga walked away with a victory that boosted their record to 5-4 and boosted the team's morale. The game started out as a close game with Aliaga only leading 45:51 by the end of the half. However, Aliaga blew the game open in the third quarter by extending the lead to 63:79 and going on to a 95:105 win. Aliaga had several significant contributors including Aubrey Reese (183-G-78, agency: Interperformances, college: Murray St.), who finished the game with 29 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists. Reha Oz (200-F-78) (16 pts) and Ceyhun Altay (196-G/F-86, agency: Court Side) (12 pts, 7 reb) ignited their team with stellar outside shooting and energetic play. Charles Davis (202-F-84, college: Alabama) (27 pts, 8 reb, 5 ast) and Fatih Solak (12 pts, 9 reb, 7 blk) played fantastic from the post. Serkan Erdogan (190-G-78, agency: Interperformances) (23 pts, 6 ast) and Bekir Yarangume (198-F-79) (12 pts) each played solid games, using their accurate outside shooting to keep Telekom in the game.
