Very predictable result in Mexico City where tenth ranked Soles (21-15) beat 16th ranked Titanes (8-27) 83-71. The winners were led by American forward Lorenzo Wade (198-85, college: San Diego St., agency: Interperformances) who scored that evening 26 points and 6 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) and guard Kevin Kruger (186-83, college: UNLV) supported him with 17 points and 6 rebounds. Soles' coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 22 points and 8 rebounds by Cameroonian forward Salomon Angounou (202-83, college: Arizona St.) did not help to save the game for Titanes.
