The game with biggest result difference took place in Sydney. Local Kings (1-14) lost to first ranked New Zealand Breakers (12-3) 83-70 on Saturday night. New Zealand swingman Thomas Abercrombie (198-87, college: Washington St.) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds for the winners and Fiji-New Zealand forward Mika Vukona (197-82) chipped in 8 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Four New Zealand Breakers players scored in double figures. New Zealand Breakers' coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side American forward Taj McCullough (201-86, college: Winthrop) responded with 17 points and 5 rebounds and the former international center Julian Khazzouh (211-86) scored 16 points, 6 rebounds and 6 blocks. New Zealand Breakers maintains first place with 12-3 record. Kings lost thirteenth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 14 games lost.
