Top ranked New Zealand Breakers (12-3) recorded its third loss on the court of second ranked Perth Wildcats on Sunday night. Visitors were rolled over by Perth Wildcats 114-74. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of New Zealand Breakers. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. Perth Wildcats dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to New Zealand Breakers' 32. Perth Wildcats forced 23 New Zealand Breakers turnovers and outrebounded them 52-37 including 23 on the offensive glass. 27 personal fouls committed by New Zealand Breakers helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Shawn Redhage (203-81, college: Arizona St., agency: Warren Sports International) who had a double-double by scoring 32 points and 10 rebounds.
