Very predictable result when tenth ranked Fukuoka Rizing (8-4) beat at home 12th ranked Shimane (5-7) 96-78. The best player for the winner was American swingman Michael Parker (200-81, college: Evergreen St.) who had double-double 30 points and 10 rebounds. His countryman guard Nile Murry (193-83, college: TCU) helped with 13 points and 6 assists. Coach Tadaharu Ogawa used 11-player rotation saving starting five for next games. American forward Reggie Golson (201-81, college: SE Missouri St., agent: Side Court) produced double-double 20 points and 13 rebounds and guard Kouki Yamabuchi (183-84) added 19 points and 4 assists for the guests. Thanks to that win Fukuoka Rizing become a new league leader. Shimane dropped to the sixth place with seven games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
