No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Lider Pruszkow (7-3) smashed at home 12th ranked Odra Brzeg (1-8) 75-53. The best player for the winner was American center Brittany Denson (191-87, college: S.Florida) who had 19 points and 6 rebounds. Her countrywoman guard Adrianne Ross (173-84, college: TCU) helped with 16 points. Lider Pruszkow's coach Arkadiusz Koniecki used 11-player rotation giving the chance to rest for starting five. Guard Magdalena Gawronska (168-83, agent: Grzegorz Piekoszewski) produced 9 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and forward Marta Zylczynska (183-81, agent: Grzegorz Piekoszewski) added 11 points and 6 rebounds for the guests. Odra Brzeg added sixth loss to their record. Lider Pruszkow maintain fourth place. Odra Brzeg dropped to the eleventh place with eight games lost. They share it with LKS Siemens. Lider Pruszkow are looking forward to the next round to face league's second-placed Wisla Can-Pak in Krakow and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Odra Brzeg will play at home against Widzew (#7) hoping to prove their supporters that they can break losing series.
