I am not sure if we can call it surprise result between close teams ended when seventh ranked Bennet Cantu (4-2) beat 6th ranked Air AV (3-3) in Avellino 75-71. It was a good game for naturalized Uruguayan guard Nicolas Mazzarino (181-75, agent: Andrea Forti) who led his team to a victory with 20 points. Serbian forward Vladimir Micov (203-85, agent: Misko Raznatovic) contributed with 14 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American forward Chevon Troutman (202-81, college: Pittsburgh, agent: Hirant Manakian) replied with double-double 17 points and 12 rebounds and American-FYR Macedonian guard Marques Green (170-82, college: St.Bonaventure) added 8 points and 9 assists for Air AV. Coach Francesco Vitucci tried in this game 10 players in such tough game. Bennet Cantu (4-2) jumped to the third spot. They share that position with Cimberio VA, Scavolini PS and CS Bologna.
