Regular Season Round 12: Brest - Sorgues 78-70

I am not sure if we can call it an upset between close teams when 8th ranked Sorgues (6-6) was defeated on the road by ninth ranked Brest (7-5) 78-70. The biggest contributor to a victory was Lithuanian forward Vaidotas Pridotkas (200-84) with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Center Rafael Lopez (204-86) helped with double-double 15 points and 11 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was center Xavier Pasut (200-84) who recorded 14 points and naturalized Moroccan guard Yassine Bassine (198-84) added 15 points. Thanks to that win Brest moved-up to fifth place. Newly promoted Sorgues dropped to the seventh place with six games lost. They share it with 4 other teams. Brest are looking forward to the next round to face Lievin (#16) on the road which should be an easy walk for them. Sorgues will play against CFBB (#18) hoping to win this game.
