I am not sure if we can call it surprise result between close teams ended when ninth ranked DKV Joventut (5-3) won on the road against 8th ranked Bizkaia Bilbao (4-4) 92-85. Dutch power forward Henk Norel (212-87) orchestrated the victory with 15 points and 5 rebounds. Forward Jordi Trias (207-80) contributed with 11 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Latvian guard Janis Blums (190-82) replied with 22 points and Croatian forward Marko Banic (205-84) added 11 points for Bizkaia Bilbao. Both coaches used bench players giving the chance to rest for starting five. DKV Joventut (5-3) jumped to the fourth spot. They share that position with 4 other teams. Bizkaia Bilbao dropped to the ninth place with 4-4 record. They have the same record like Gran Canaria.
