Regular Season Round 6: Pesaro - Banco di Sard. 79-68
Date: November 21, 2010
I am not sure if we can call it an upset between close teams ended when 6th ranked Ford Sassari (3-3) lost to seventh ranked Scavolini PS (4-2) in Pesaro 79-68. It was a good game for former international guard Daniele Cinciarini (194-83) who led his team to a victory with 20 points. Naturalized American guard Daniel Hackett (196-87, college: USC) contributed with 12 points and 6 assists for the winners. American forward Othello Hunter (203-86, college: Ohio St., agent: David Lee) replied with 22 points and 6 rebounds and his countryman guard James White (198-84, college: Cincinnati, agent: Side Court) added 15 points for Ford Sassari. Scavolini PS (4-2) jumped to the third spot. They share that position with Cimberio VA, CS Bologna and Bennet Cantu. Ford Sassari dropped to the seventh place with 3-3 record. They have the same record like 4 other teams. Scavolini PS are looking forward to the next round to face Benetton TV (#13) in Treviso which should be an easy walk for them. Ford Sassari will play at home against Enel Brindisi (#15) hoping to win this game.
