Regular Season Round 10: Breogan - Caceres 70-49

The most shocking disappointment of round 10 in LEB Gold was home defeat of higher ranked Caceres by fifteenth ranked Breogan who outscored them by 21 points 49-70. American forward Wilbert Brown (200-84, college: Niagara, agent: Yossi Gayer) scored 17 points and 8 rebounds to led the charge for the winners and Portuguese-Cape Verdean forward Joao Gomes (199-85) helped with 11 points and 8 rebounds. At the losing side forward Jose Angel Antelo (203-87) responded with 19 points and 7 rebounds and American center Jelani McCoy (208-77, college: UCLA) with 8 points and 5 rebounds. Coach Gustavo Aranzana tried in this game 10 players giving the chance to rest for starting five. Despite the victory Breogan (3-7) stay at fifteenth position. Caceres (7-3) on the other side went down to fourth place as they recorded their third loss. Breogan are looking forward to the next round to face higher ranked Navarra (#7) in Pamplona and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Caceres will play at home against Ourense hoping to win this game.
