There was a surprise result in Lappeenranta where eleventh ranked LrNMKY (4-11) beat higher ranked Honka (9-7) 83-78. It was a great evening for American guard Malik Moore (192-77, college: Amer.Internat.) who led his team to a victory with 29 points and 7 rebounds. His countryman forward Brant Bailey (202-77, college: Wisc.-Stevens Point) helped adding 17 points and 6 rebounds. The best for the losing side was former international guard Tuomas Iisalo (195-82, agent: Side Court) with 24 points and American center John Williamson (198-86, college: Cincinnati) with 17 points and 6 rebounds. That victory allowed LrNMKY (4-11) to climb to tenth place. They share it with Salon Vilpas. Honka (9-7) on the other side took fourth position as they recorded their seventh loss. LrNMKY are looking forward to the next round to face higher ranked Tarmo in Porvoon. Honka will play at home against Namika Lahti (#) being definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
