Rather predictable result when fourth ranked Montepaschi (5-1) rolled over 8th ranked Angelico BI (3-3) in Siena 101-81. It was a good game for Lithuanian center Ksistof Lavrinovic (210-79) who led his team to a victory with 22 points. American-FYR Macedonian guard Bo Lester McCalebb (183-85, college: New Orleans) contributed with 15 points for the winners. Montepaschi's coach Simone Pianigiani used all the bench saving starting five for next games. American guard A.J. Slaughter (191-88, college: W.Kentucky) replied with 19 points and his countryman forward Marc Salyers (205-79, college: Samford) added 12 points and 5 rebounds for Angelico BI. Montepaschi has a solid series of three victories in a row. Defending champion Montepaschi (5-1) jumped to the second spot. Angelico BI dropped to the seventh place with 3-3 record.
